Privacy Notice

What we collect
Account details (name, mobile number, email), your role and institute, and the content you create on the platform — session bookings, notes, intake-form answers, in-meeting chat, and, where the institute enables it, session recordings and their automatic transcripts and analysis.
Why we use it
To run the mentorship service for your institute: authenticating sign-in, scheduling and conducting sessions, sending reminders by email, and giving institute managers quality and progress analytics. We do not sell personal data.
Who can see it
Your data is isolated to your institute. Institute admins and your assigned mentor can see what they need to support you; other institutes cannot. We use trusted processors (cloud hosting, email, storage, and the AI model your institute selects for analysis) under confidentiality obligations.
Retention
We keep data for as long as your institute's account is active and as needed for the purposes above. Recordings follow the institute's configured retention window.
Your rights
Under the DPDPA you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact your institute's admin or email privacy@upclass.ai and we'll act on verified requests.
Security & contact
Data is encrypted in transit; secrets and credentials are encrypted at rest. Report concerns to privacy@upclass.ai.
